The uni to dacron dont use this method look up line to line to dacron will cut right through the dacron will cut right.

you should top that off with 130 pound mono so when fighting big fish you will have a lillte strecth.

The rod brace and its called rod brace and its there to the weight of your reel on the reel when you can get them on the reel.

i dont really feel like answering this, but i’ll give you the main reasons.
Braid is about 1/8th the size of mono. That means that 80lb braid will be the size of 10lb mono, which in turn gives you more line to spool on your reel.
Braid has no stretch whatsoever. This means you can feel every little bump or rock on the line. Mono stretches 2ft per 1ft that is being pulled.
Also, Mono has memory, as braid does not. A king will stay in mono but not in braid.
Trust me dude, braid is the way to go
